“Nike’s celebration of innovation and modern craft came to East London this month. Their ‘Energy Space’, 1948 in Shoreditch, plays host to an exhibition showcasing the 8 major technologies in Nike Running. Rosie Lee built and installed a giant model of Nike’s Lunar Eclipse. The shoe is one giant ‘Trompe-l’œil’ - esque optical illusion. When viewed head on the shoe appears complete but when moved around the 15 separate elements are revealed. We were also responsible for bringing to life one of the space’s walls, documenting the 8 technologies with separate panels, each with an original shoe to match. Ben Drury provided posters and video content for the remaining wall under the name Ground Control to LDN.”
